New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Hackney’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Grays Inn Kitchen, at 83 Dalston Lane, Hackney, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 2.

And SAWASDEE, at 239-243 Mare Street, Hackney, London was given a score of three on May 2.

It means that of Hackney's 1,065 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 600 (56%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
