New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Hackney’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Mangal ll, at 4 Stoke Newington Road, Hackney, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 15.

And Uncle Nam's, at 66 Stoke Newington High Street, Hackney, London was given a score of one on February 15.

It means that of Hackney's 1,038 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 575 (55%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
