New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Hackney’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Cafe on the Marshes, at Hackney Marshes Centre Hackney Marshes, Homerton Road, Hackney, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 8.

And Cafe Oto, at 18-22 Ashwin Street, Hackney, London was given a score of three on February 8.

It means that of Hackney's 1,036 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 571 (55%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
