New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Hackney’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Hogless Roast, at 28 Curtain Road, Hackney, London was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 23.

And Tomi's Kitchen Restaurant Limited, at 6 Morning Lane, London was given a score of one on March 23.

It means that of Hackney's 932 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 474 (51%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
