Food hygiene ratings given to two Hackney restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Hackney’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Hackney’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Shaka’s Guyanese Food, at 280 Trelawney Estate Paragon Road, Hackney, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 14.

And Tranquilo, at 51 Broadway Market, Hackney, London was also given a score of four on September 14.

It means that of Hackney's 1,072 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 620 (58%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
