New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Hackney’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Bodega 50, at 50 Allen Road, Hackney, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 30.

And 52a Coffee House, at 52a Southgate Road, Hackney, London was given a score of three on May 30.

It means that of Hackney's 1,072 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 605 (56%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
