New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Hackney’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Lekki, at 323 Kingsland Road, Hackney, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 27.

And Green Papaya, at Basement And Ground Floor, 191 Mare Street, Hackney, London was given a score of three on March 27.

It means that of Hackney's 1,047 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 582 (56%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
