New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Hackney’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Tram Store, at The Tram Depot, 38-40 Upper Clapton Road, Hackney, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 18.

And Market Cafe, at Sir Walter Scott House, 2 Broadway Market, Hackney, London was given a score of three on January 18.

It means that of Hackney's 1,032 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 565 (55%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
