Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to nine Greenwich establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to nine of Greenwich’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to seven restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Five Guys at 10 Entertainment Avenue, Greenwich; rated on October 12

• Rated 5: The Lost Hour at 217 - 219 Greenwich High Road, Greenwich; rated on October 10

• Rated 5: All Tribe Restaurant at 13 Beresford Square, Woolwich, Greenwich; rated on October 9

• Rated 5: Starbucks at 21 Major Draper Street, Woolwich, Greenwich; rated on October 9

• Rated 5: HULI HULI at 6 Soames Walk, Greenwich; rated on October 5

• Rated 5: JWalks Grill @ The Royal Oak at Royal Oak 54 Charlton Lane, Charlton, Greenwich; rated on September 12

• Rated 5: Better Coffee Corner at Sutcliffe Park Sports Centre Sutcliffe Park Eltham Road, Eltham, Greenwich; rated on August 17
