New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Greenwich’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Greenwich’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Chicken Experts, at 164 Westcombe Hill, Blackheath, Greenwich was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 6.

And Metro's Fried Chicken, at 556 Westhorne Avenue, Eltham, Greenwich was given a score of four on May 3.

It means that of Greenwich's 257 takeaways with ratings, 177 (69%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
