Road closures: six for Enfield drivers this week

Drivers in and around Enfield will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And four of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• M25, from midnight, July 21 to 11.59pm August 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, 24hr narrow lanes for CAT1 concrete wall damage.

And a further five closures will begin over the next seven days:

• M25, from 10pm August 8 to 6am August 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25, carriageway closure between exit and entry slip roads for Concrete repairs, diversion via National Highways network.

• M25, from 10pm August 9 to 5am August 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 23 to junction 25, Lane closures for removal of narrow lane closure.

• M25, from 10pm August 9 to 5am August 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 25 to junction 23, carriageway closure and entry slip road closures for removal of narrow lane closure, diversion via TFL and Local authority roads.

• M25, from 10pm August 17 to 5.30am August 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, carriageway closure between exit and entry slip roads for concrete repairs, diversion via National Highways Network.

• M25, from 10pm August 22 to 5.30am August 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25, carriageway closure between exit and entry slip roads for Concrete repairs, diversion via National Highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
