Road closures: six for Enfield drivers this week

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that six closures are due to start this week:

M25, from 10pm June 28 to 5am June 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closures for Speed Camera maintenance.

M25, from 11pm July 1 to 5am July 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closures for boundary fence repairs.

M25, from 10pm July 2 to 5am July 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closure and exit slip road closure for, junction improvement scheme.

M11, from 10pm July 4 to 6am July 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 27 to junction 26, carriageway and link road closures for resurfacing works, diversion via National Highways Network and Local authority roads.

M25, from 10pm July 4 to 5am July 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closures for Speed Camera maintenance.

M25, from 10pm July 11 to 5am July 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 26 to junction 27, Lane closure for drainage works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
