Road closures: six for Enfield drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Enfield will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that six closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• M25, from 9pm August 7 to 5am August 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closure for ERA Bay Investigation works.

• M25, from 10pm August 14 to 5am August 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lanes closure for Speed / Red X Camera maintenance - Recertification (M25 5466A).

• M25, from 10pm August 19 to 5am August 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closure and slip road closure for ERA Bay works, diversion via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 10pm August 20 to 5am August 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 26 to junction 24, Lane and carriageway closure for ERA Bay Ecology work, diversion via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 9pm August 21 to 5am August 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closure for ERA Bay Ecology works.

• M25, from 10pm August 21 to 5.30am August 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25 to junction 26, Lane closure for communication works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
