Road closures: eight for Enfield drivers this week

Drivers in and around Enfield will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that six closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M25, from 10pm April 11 to 5am April 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 27 to junction 26, Lane closure for major tops survey on ERA Bays.

• M25, from 10pm April 11 to 5.30am April 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, slip road closure and Lane closure for electrical works, diversion via National highways network.

• M25, from 10pm April 13 to 5am April 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closure for cyclical maintenance.

• M25, from 10pm April 17 to 5am April 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 23 to junction 25, lane closure for centre reservation drainage HADDMS inspections.

• M25, from 10pm April 17 to 5.30am April 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, carriageway and lane closure for testing works, diversion National highways network.

• M25, from 10pm April 11 to 6am April 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 25 to junction 23, carriageway closure and entry slip road closure for surfacing works, diversion via local authority and National Highways roads.

And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:

• M25, from 10pm April 24 to 5am April 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 26 to junction 27, Lane closures for repair of signals.

• M25, from 10pm April 24 to 6am April 29, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, entry slip road closure for carriageway surfacing works, diversion via National Highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
