Road closures: eight for Enfield drivers this week

Drivers in and around Enfield will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And five of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• M25, from 10pm October 1 to 5am October 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, carriageway closure and entry slip road for electrical works, diversion via local authority roads.

And a further seven closures will begin over the next seven days:

• M25, from 10pm October 3 to 5am October 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closures for repair of message sign.

• A10, from 10pm October 4 to 5am October 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures and roundabout closure for carriageway improvements, diversion via local authority roads.

• M25, from 10pm October 8 to 6am October 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, carriageway closures and entry slip road closure for tunnel maintenance and live exercise, diversion via local authority roads.

• M25, from 10pm October 10 to 6am October 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, carriageway closure between the exit and entry slip road for concrete repairs, diversion via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 10pm October 10 to 5.30am October 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 27 to junction 26, Lane closures for CCTV camera installation works.

• M25, from 10pm October 11 to 5.30am October 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closures for CCTV installation.

• M25, from 10pm October 17 to 5.30am October 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25 to junction 26 lane one and entry slip closure, Lane and slip road closure, diversion via national highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
