Road closures: eight for Enfield drivers this week

Drivers in and around Enfield will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And three of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that eight closures are due to start this week:

• A10, from 10pm March 21 to 5am March 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, North east quadrant Roundabout lane closure for, junction improvement scheme.

• M25, from 10pm March 21 to 5.30am March 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, Lane closures and entry slip road closure for inspections works, diversion via National Highways network.

• M25, from 10pm March 21 to 5am March 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closures for boundary fence repairs.

• A10, from 10pm March 25 to 5am March 28, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures and west quadrant roundabout and exit slip road closures for, junction improvement scheme, diversion via National Highways network and local authority roads.

• A10, from 10pm March 28 to 5am March 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, exit slip road Lane closure and roundabout lane closure for, junction improvement scheme.

• A10, from 10pm March 30 to 5am April 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, exit slip road Lane closure and roundabout lane closure for, junction improvement scheme.

• M25, from 11pm April 1 to 5.30am April 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 26 to junction 24, Lane closures and slip road closures for retexturing works, diversion via National Highways network.

• M25, from 10pm April 4 to 5am April 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures for sign removal.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
