Road closures: eight for Enfield drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Enfield will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• M25, from 10pm February 3 to 5.30am February 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane and slip road closure for Area renewal works, diversion via Local Authorities roads.

And a further seven closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• M25, from 10pm February 8 to 5.30am February 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 25 to 24 , Lane closure for urgent emergency concrete repairs.

• M25, from 10pm February 10 to 5.30am February 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, lane closure for concrete repairs.

• M25, from 10pm February 12 to 5am February 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closures and slip road closure for PRS vegetation clearance, diversion via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 10pm February 15 to 5am February 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closure for CAT1 Message sign and CCTV repairs.

• M25, from 10pm February 17 to 5.30am February 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closure for emergency repair works.

• M25, from 10pm February 19 to 5am February 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, Lane closure for tunnel maintenance.

• M25, from 10pm February 19 to 6am March 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closure for concrete repair works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
