Road closures: almost a dozen for Enfield drivers this week

Drivers in and around Enfield will have 10 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And four of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• M25, from 10pm July 2 to 5am July 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closure and exit slip road closure for, junction improvement scheme.

And a further nine closures will begin over the next seven days:

• M11, from 10pm July 4 to 6am July 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 27 to junction 26, carriageway and link road closures for resurfacing works, diversion via National Highways Network and Local authority roads.

• A10, from 10pm July 4 to 5am July 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise and anti clockwise, junction 25, Lane closures for scheme works.

• M25, from 10pm July 4 to 5am July 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closures for Speed Camera maintenance.

• M25, from 10pm July 11 to 5am July 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 26 to junction 27, Lane closure for drainage works.

• M25, from 10pm July 12 to 5am July 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24, slip road closures for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways Network.

• M25, from 10pm July 13 to 5am July 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M25, from 9pm July 18 to 5.30am July 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures for sign installation works.

• M25, from 10pm July 18 to 5am July 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closures for maintenance works.

• M25, from 10pm July 18 to 5am July 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25 to junction 26, Lane closure for drainage works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
