Road closures: almost a dozen for Enfield drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Enfield will have 11 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And seven of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that 11 closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• M25, from 9pm October 9 to 5am October 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closure for ERA Bay ecology works.

• M25, from 10pm October 9 to 5.30am October 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane and slip road closure for Midas survey works, diversion Via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 10pm October 10 to 5am October 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 23 to junction 24, slip roads and lane closures for cyclical maintenance, diversion via National Highways.

• M25, from 11pm October 13 to 6am October 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, lane closure for drainage works.

• M25, from 11pm October 13 to 5am October 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, slip roads and lane closures for cyclical maintenance, diversion via National Highways.

• M25, from 11pm October 13 to 6am October 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, lane closure for drainage works.

• M25, from 10pm October 14 to 5am October 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 26 to junction 24, Lane and slip road closure for ERA Bay Ecology works, diversion via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 10.30pm October 15 to 5am October 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25 to junction 26, Lane closures and slip road closure for ERA Bay Ecology works, diversion via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 10pm October 16 to 5am October 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, slip road and lane closures for cyclical maintenance, diversion via National Highways.

• M25, from 10pm October 18 to 5am October 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, slip road and lane closures for cyclical maintenance, diversion via National Highways.

• M25, from 10pm October 23 to 5.30am October 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 26 to junction 27, Lane closure for Led Scheme works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
