Road closures: a dozen for Enfield drivers this week

Drivers in and around Enfield will have 12 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And four of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that 12 closures are due to start this week:

• A10, from 9pm March 20 to 5am April 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M11 southbound, junction 7 to junction 6 - carriageway closure, lane closure and diversion route due to inspection/survey works on behalf of National Highways.

• M25, from 10pm March 20 to 6am March 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, carriageway closure and entry slip road closure for Tunnel inspection works, diversion via local authority roads.

• M25, from 10pm March 20 to 5am March 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24, slip road closure for CAT1 safety fence repair, diversion via National highways network.

• M25, from 10pm March 20 to 5am March 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures for drainage works.

• M25, from 10pm March 20 to 5.30am March 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25 to junction 26, Lane closure for CCTV Camera Installation works.

• A10, from 10pm March 20 to 5am March 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 , Lane closure for sign / VRS repair works.

• M25, from 10pm March 21 to 5am March 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closure for CAT1 safety fence repair.

• A10, from 10pm March 21 to 5am March 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, Lane closure for VRS / Sign repair works.

• M25, from 10pm March 22 to 5.30am March 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures for electrical works.

• M25, from 10pm March 22 to 5am March 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closure drainage HADDMS inspections.

• M25, from 10pm March 23 to 5am March 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closure for Speed / Red X Enforcement Camera maintenance.

• M25, from 10pm April 3 to 5.30am April 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, slip road and lane closure for surfacing works, diversion via National highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
