New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Enfield’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

TGI Fridays, at 190 Southbury Road, Enfield was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 26.

And Costa, at 47a Chase Side, Southgate was also given a score of five on January 25.

It means that of Enfield's 484 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 241 (50%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
