Good news as food hygiene ratings handed to nine Enfield establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to nine of Enfield’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: PNGNET at 580 Hertford Road, London; rated on September 21

• Rated 5: Snug place at All Saints Church Hall, Church Street, London; rated on September 21

• Rated 5: St Mary's RC Primary School at St Marys Rc Primary School, Durants Road, Enfield; rated on April 19

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And six ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Social Club at 254 Fore Street, London; rated on September 21

• Rated 5: The Railway Tavern at Public House, 19-20 Market Square, London; rated on September 21

• Rated 5: The Three Wishes at Public House, 749 Green Lanes, London; rated on September 21

• Rated 5: Mollys Bar at Public House, 380 Bowes Road, London; rated on September 20

• Rated 5: LT's at Public House, 58 Fore Street, London; rated on September 19

• Rated 5: Prince Albert Enfield at Public House, 611 Hertford Road, Enfield; rated on September 15
