New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Enfield’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Enfield’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Melt Peri Peri, at 564 Hertford Road, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 2.

And Chicken Express, at 159 Fore Street, London was given a score of three on May 2.

It means that of Enfield's 256 takeaways with ratings, 96 (38%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
