Enfield road closures: two for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight

Enfield's motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And they are both are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• M25, from 10pm December 18 to 5.30am December 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 tojunction 25, Lane and slip road closure for testing works, diversion via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 10pm December 18 to 5am December 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 26 to junction 24, lane and slip road closur for ERA Bay ecology works, diversion via National Highways roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
