Enfield road closures: six for motorists to avoid this week

Enfield's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Enfield's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M25, from midnight, July 21 to 11.59pm August 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, 24hr narrow lanes for CAT1 concrete wall damage.

And a further five closures will begin over the next seven days:

M25, from 9pm July 25 to 5.30am July 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 23 to junction 25, Lane closures and slip road closures for sign installation works, diversion via National Highways network.

M25, from 10pm August 1 to 5am August 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 26, Lane closures for electrical works.

M25, from 10pm August 1 to 5am August 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 26 to junction 24, Lane closures for electrical works.

M25, from 10pm August 3 to 5am August 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures for NTRS communication works.

M25, from 10pm August 8 to 6am August 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25, carriageway closure between exit and entry slip roads for Concrete repairs, diversion via National Highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
