Enfield road closures: six for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight

Enfield's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that six closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• M25, from 10pm September 11 to 5am September 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closure for drainage works.

• M25, from 10pm September 11 to 6am September 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, slip road and lane closure for testing works, diversion via National highways network.

• M25, from 10pm September 16 to 5am September 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 26 to junction 24, Lane closures and exit slip road closure for ERA Bay Ecology works, diversion via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 10pm September 18 to 5am September 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25 to junction 26, Lane and slip road closure for ERA Bay Ecology works, diversion via National Highwys roads.

• M25, from 10pm September 18 to 5.30am September 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 26 to junction 27, Lane closure for Led Scheme works.

• M25, from 10pm September 23 to 5am September 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 26 to junction 24, Lane closures and exit slip road closure for ERA Bay Ecology works, diversion via National Highways roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
