Enfield road closures: six for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight

Enfield's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

M25, from 10pm August 20 to 5am August 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 26 to junction 24, Lane and carriageway closure for ERA Bay Ecology work, diversion via National Highways roads.

M25, from 10pm August 21 to 5.30am August 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25 to junction 26, Lane closure for communication works.

M25, from 9pm August 21 to 5am August 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closure for ERA Bay Ecology works.

M25, from 10pm August 23 to 6am August 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25 to junction 26, Lane closure and exit and entry slip road for testing works, diversion via National Highways roads.

And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:

M25, from 10pm August 29 to 5.30am September 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25 to junction 26, carriageway, slip road and lane closure for testing works, diversion via National highways network.

M25, from 9pm August 30 to 5am September 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, Lane closure for improvement works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
