Enfield road closures: seven for motorists to avoid this week

Enfield's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Enfield's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M25, from 10pm December 5 to 6am December 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, entry slip road closure and lane closures for surfacing works. Diversion via National Highways roads.

And a further six closures will begin over the next seven days:

M25, from 10pm December 12 to 5.30am December 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25, entry slip road closure for electrical works, diversion via National Highways.

M25, from 10pm December 13 to 5am December 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 27 to junction 28, Lane closure for repair of signal.

M25, from 10pm December 14 to 5.30am December 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 25, entry slip road closure for electrical works, diversion via National Highways roads.

M25, from 10pm December 14 to 5am December 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, slip road and lane closure for drainage works, diversion via National highways network.

M25, from 11pm December 16 to 5.30am December 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closure for drainage works.

M25, from 10pm December 19 to 5.30am December 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closure for monitoring works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
