And four of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that seven closures are due to start this week:

A10, from 10pm September 21 to 5am September 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, exit slip road Lane closure and roundabout lane closure for Herts CC resurfacing scheme.

M25, from 10pm September 26 to 5.30am September 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, carriageway closure between the exit and entry slip road for concrete repairs, diversion via National Highways Roads (junction 25 exit slip and rejoin using, junction 25 entry).

M25, from 10pm September 26 to 5.30am September 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, carriageway closure between exit and entry slip road for concrete repairs, diversion via National Highways roads.

M25, from 10pm September 28 to 5am September 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closures for maintenance works.

M25, from 10pm September 29 to 5.30am October 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, entry slip road closure for electrical works, diversion via National Highways roads.

M25, from 10pm October 1 to 5am October 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, carriageway closure and entry slip road for electrical works, diversion via local authority roads.

M25, from 10pm October 3 to 5am October 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closures for repair of message sign.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
