Enfield road closures: nine for motorists to avoid this week

Enfield's motorists will have nine road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And four of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that nine closures are due to start this week:

• M25, from 9pm May 30 to 6am June 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 23 to junction 25, Lane closures and slip road closures for sign installation works, diversion via National Highways network.

• M25, from 10pm May 30 to 5am May 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closures for Speed / Red X Camera maintenance.

• M25, from 10pm May 31 to 5.30am June 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, Lane closures for blind sign works.

• M25, from 10pm May 31 to 5am June 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 23, Lane closures for CAT1 safety fence repairs.

• M25, from 9pm June 6 to 6am June 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures for sign installation works.

• A10, from 10pm June 6 to 5am June 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, East quadrant Roundabout lane closure for, junction improvement scheme.

• A10, from 10pm June 6 to 5am June 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, North quadrant Roundabout closure for, junction improvement scheme, diversion via local authority network.

• M25, from 10pm June 6 to 6am June 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 23, carriageway and slip road closures for surfacing works, diversion via local authority Network.

• A10, from 11pm June 10 to 5am June 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, North quadrant Roundabout closure for, junction improvement scheme, diversion via local authority network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
