Enfield road closures: four for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight

Enfield's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And three of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• M25, from 10pm January 3 to 5am January 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, Lane closure for cat one carriageway repairs.

• M25, from 10pm January 3 to 5am January 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 23 to junction 25, Lane and slip road closurefor cyclical maintenance, diversions via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 10pm January 8 to 5am January 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, Lane closures and slip road closure for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 10pm January 8 to 5am January 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane and slip road closure for cyclical maintenance, diversion via National Highways roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
