Enfield road closures: four for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight

Enfield's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• M25, from 10pm June 20 to 5am June 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 26 to junction 24, Lane closure for speed / red x enforcement camera maintenance - recertification (5419B).

• M25, from 9pm June 21 to 5am June 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 26 to junction 24, Lane closure and carriageway closure for PRS / ERA BAY Ground Investigation works, diversion via National Highways Roads.

• M25, from 10pm June 24 to 5.30am June 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 Clcokwise, junction 25 to junction 26, Lane and carriageway closure for tunnel inspection works, diversion via Local Authorities roads.

• M25, from 10pm June 26 to 6am July 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 Anti clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, carriageway, slip road and lane closure for inspection works, diversion via local authorities.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
