Enfield road closures: five for motorists to avoid this week

Enfield's motorists will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And four of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures are due to start this week:

• M25, from 10pm April 25 to 6am May 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 23, carriageway and slip road closures for surfacing works, diversion via local authority Network.

• A10, from 10pm April 25 to 5am April 29, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25, South quadrant roundabout closure for, junction improvement works, diversion via Local authority roads.

• M25, from 10pm April 28 to 5am April 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closures and entry slip road closure for speed camera maintenance.

• M25, from 10pm May 9 to 5am May 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closure and entry slip road closure for sign installation works, diversion via National Highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
