Enfield's motorists will have eight road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And four of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that eight closures are due to start this week:

M25, from 10pm April 11 to 5am April 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 27 to junction 26, Lane closure for major tops survey on ERA Bays.

M25, from 10pm April 11 to 6am April 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 25 to junction 23, carriageway closure and entry slip road closure for surfacing works, diversion via local authority and National Highways roads.

M25, from 10pm April 11 to 5.30am April 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, slip road closure and Lane closure for electrical works, diversion via National highways network.

M25, from 10pm April 13 to 5am April 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closure for cyclical maintenance.

M25, from 10pm April 17 to 5am April 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 23 to junction 25, lane closure for centre reservation drainage HADDMS inspections.

M25, from 10pm April 17 to 5.30am April 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, carriageway and lane closure for testing works, diversion National highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
