Enfield road closures: eight for motorists to avoid this week

Enfield's motorists will have eight road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And seven of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• M25, from 10pm August 17 to 5.30am August 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, carriageway closure between exit and entry slip roads for concrete repairs, diversion via National Highways Network.

And a further seven closures will begin over the next seven days:

• M25, from 10pm August 22 to 5am August 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 23 to junction 25, Lane closure CAT1 concrete wall damage.

• M25, from 10pm August 22 to 5am August 23, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 25 to junction 23, carriageway closure and entry slip road closures for removal of narrow lane closure, diversion via TFL and Local authority roads.

• M25, from 10pm August 22 to 5.30am August 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25, carriageway closure for Concrete repairs, diversion via National Highways network.

• M25, from 10pm August 24 to 5am August 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25 to junction 26, carriageway closure for electrical works, diversion via local authority network.

• A10, from 10pm August 30 to 5am September 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25 roundabout, Partial roundabout closure for scheme works, diversion via TFL and local authority roads.

• M25, from 10pm August 30 to 5.30am September 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures and exit slip road closure for electrical works, diversion via National Highways network.

• M25, from 11pm September 2 to 5am September 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, exit slip road closure for scheme works, diversion via National Highways roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
