Enfield road closures: eight for motorists to avoid this week

Enfield's motorists will have eight road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that eight closures are due to start this week:

• A10, from 10pm March 28 to 5am March 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, exit slip road Lane closure and roundabout lane closure for, junction improvement scheme.

• A10, from 10pm March 30 to 5am April 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, exit slip road Lane closure and roundabout lane closure for, junction improvement scheme.

• M25, from 10pm March 30 to 5am March 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 26 to junction 24, Lane closure for CAT1 carriageway repairs.

• M25, from 11pm April 1 to 5.30am April 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 26 to junction 24, Lane closures and slip road closures for retexturing works, diversion via National Highways network.

• M25, from 10pm April 4 to 5am April 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures for sign removal.

• A10, from 10pm April 8 to 5am April 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures and west quadrant roundabout and exit slip road closures for, junction improvement scheme, diversion via National Highways network and local authority roads.

• M25, from 10pm April 11 to 5am April 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closures for boundary fence repairs.

• M25, from 10pm April 11 to 5am April 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closure and exit slip road closure lane closure for, junction improvement scheme.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
