Enfield road closures: almost a dozen for motorists to avoid this week

Enfield's motorists will have 10 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• M25, from 10pm March 6 to 6am March 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 25 to junction 23, carriageway closure and entry slip road closure for surfacing works, diversion via local authority and National Highways roads.

And a further nine closures will begin over the next seven days:

• M25, from 10pm March 13 to 5am March 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures for CAT 1 RTMC Electrical works.

• M25, from 10pm March 16 to 5am March 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closure for repair of CAT1 Radar and Message sign.

• A10, from 9pm March 20 to 5am April 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M11 southbound, junction 7 to junction 6 - carriageway closure, lane closure and diversion route due to inspection/survey works on behalf of National Highways.

• M25, from 10pm March 20 to 6am March 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, carriageway closure and entry slip road closure for Tunnel inspection works, diversion via local authority roads.

• M25, from 10pm March 20 to 5am March 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures for drainage works.

• M25, from 10pm March 20 to 5.30am March 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25 to junction 26, Lane closure for CCTV Camera Installation works.

• M25, from 10pm March 22 to 5.30am March 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures for electrical works.

• M25, from 10pm March 23 to 5am March 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closure for Speed / Red X Enforcement Camera maintenance.

• M25, from 10pm March 27 to 5.30am April 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 25, slip road and lane closures for electrical works, diversion via National highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
