New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Ealing’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Slemani Restaurant, at 179 Uxbridge Road, West Ealing was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 3.

And Karak Chaii, at 263a High Street, Acton was given a score of two on October 3.

It means that of Ealing's 734 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 301 (41%) have ratings of five and just 12 have zero ratings.
