New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Ealing’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Poornima, at 16 South Road, Southall was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 5.

And Smokeys, at 124 Broadway, West Ealing was given a score of one on July 5.

It means that of Ealing's 750 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 324 (43%) have ratings of five and just 14 have zero ratings.
