New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Ealing’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Selekt Chicken Southall, at 50 High Street, Southall was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 9.

And Cafe 51 Eighty, at 3 St Johns Parade, Mattock Lane, West Ealing was given a score of one on November 9.

It means that of Ealing's 743 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 309 (42%) have ratings of five and just 11 have zero ratings.
