Ealing road closures: three for motorists to avoid this week

Ealing's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• M4, from 10pm May 9 to 5am May 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 2, carriageway, lane and entry slip road closures for barrier repair works, diversion via local authority network.

And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:

• M4, from 10pm May 15 to 5am May 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 4, carriageway, lane and entry slip road closures for gantry inspection works, diversion local authority network and M4, junction 2, (HA_DR26).

• M4, from 10pm May 15 to 5am May 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 2 to junction 3, Lane closures for structure inspection works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
