131 further coronavirus cases and one more death recorded in Ealing
The number of coronavirus cases in Ealing increased by 131 in the last 24 hours, official figures show – and one more death was recorded.
A total of 51,873 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 in Ealing when the UK coronavirus daily dashboard was updated on November 9 (Tuesday), up from 51,742 on Monday.

Hide AdThe rate of infection in Ealing now stands at 15,242 cases per 100,000 people, higher than the England average of 14,064.
Across the UK, the number of recorded cases increased by 32,785 over the period, to 9,366,676.
There was also one more coronavirus death recorded in the latest 24-hour period in Ealing.
The dashboard shows 687 people had died in the area by November 9 (Tuesday) – up from 686 on Monday.

Hide AdIt means there have been five deaths in the past week, which is an increase on four the previous week.
They were among 16,823 deaths recorded across London.
The figures include anyone who died within 28 days of a positive test result for Covid-19, and whose usual residence was in Ealing.
Daily death counts are revised each day, with each case backdated to the actual date of death.
The figures also show that three in five people in Ealing have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine.

Hide AdThe latest figures show 229,111 people had received both jabs by November 8 (Monday) – 59% of those aged 12 and over, based on the number of people on the National Immunisation Management Service database.
Across England, 80% of people aged 12 and above had received a second dose of the jab.
Unlike at local level, the national rate was calculated using mid-2020 population estimates from the Office for National Statistics.
