Drivers in and around Croydon will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that both of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A23, from 8pm February 1 to 6am February 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A23 northbound, Dean Lane to Star Lane, Lane closure for traffic signal upgrading.

A23, from 8pm January 3 to 5.30am March 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A23 southbound, Star Lane to Church Lane, Lane closures under traffic signal control, for traffic signal upgrade.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
