Drivers in and around Croydon will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Croydon will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

A23, from 10pm July 17 to 5am July 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A23 northbound, junction Star Lane to junction Farthing way, carriageway closure for urgent routine works, diversion via local authority and TFL roads.

A23, from 10pm July 17 to 5am July 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A23 southbound, Farthing Way to Star Lane, carriageway closure for urgent routine works, diversion for Motorway traffic is Purley, Caterham By-pass, A22 Godstone road to return to M25, junction 6. Non Motorway traffic diversion is Purely, Caterham By-pass, A22 Godstone road to return to M25, junction 6, A22 southbound, A25 westbound, A25 Godstone road, A25 Nutfield road, A23 London road, A23 Merthsham.

A23, from 10pm July 18 to 5am July 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A23 southbound, Hooley, lane closure for maintenance works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
