Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to eight Croydon establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of Croydon’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to five restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Alistairs American Diner at 3 Westow Street, Upper Norwood, London; rated on May 13

• Rated 5: Brown & Green Cafe at 99 Church Road, Upper Norwood, London; rated on May 13

• Rated 5: KPS Fast Food at 11 Broom Road, Croydon; rated on May 4

• Rated 5: Coach House Cafe at Coombe Wood, Conduit Lane, Croydon; rated on April 27

• Rated 5: Hill House Nursing Home at 50 Park Road, Kenley; rated on April 26

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 5: The Sparrowhawk at 2 Westow Hill, Upper Norwood, London; rated on May 13
