New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Croydon’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Croydon’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Metro's, at 130 Cherry Orchard Road, Croydon was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 4.

And Perfect Fried Chicken, at 43 Woodside Green, South Norwood, London was also given a score of four on October 4.

It means that of Croydon's 336 takeaways with ratings, 167 (50%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
