New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Croydon’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Croydon’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Baxfood Caribbean, at 1 Whytecliffe Road South, Purley was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 2.

And Pizza GoGo, at 82 Brighton Road, Purley was given a score of three on October 2.

It means that of Croydon's 335 takeaways with ratings, 167 (50%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
