New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Croydon’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Croydon’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Mei Chinese Takeaway, at 11 Derby Road, Croydon was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 26.

And Rodeo's Burgers & Shakes, at 1064 London Road, Thornton Heath was also given a score of four on July 26.

It means that of Croydon's 338 takeaways with ratings, 167 (49%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
