New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Croydon’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Croydon’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Magic Corn Croydon, at Magic Corn Kiosk, Whitgift Centre, Croydon was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 19.

And Tashi Sushi Bar, at Tashi Sushi, Whitgift Centre, Croydon was given a score of one on June 2.

It means that of Croydon's 339 takeaways with ratings, 163 (48%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
