Food hygiene ratings handed to two Croydon restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Croydon’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Mirch Masala, at 204 Brighton Road, Coulsdon was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 1.

And Zafran, at 349 Lower Addiscombe Road, Croydon was also given a score of four on June 1.

It means that of Croydon's 717 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 426 (59%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
